Privacy policy

Energitology is a small, independent personal-growth project. This page explains, plainly, what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
The short version
- Your Frequency Map answers are scored in your browser and are not sent to us.
- We only collect your email if you choose to receive the free Starter guide or buy something.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, run advertising trackers, or use analytics cookies.
- You can unsubscribe from any email in one click, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
What we collect
When you request the Starter guide: your email address, your first name if you give it, your Frequency Map result (one of three plane names, not your individual answers), and a record of your consent: the wording you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. CASL requires us to keep this consent record.
When you buy the Program or join the Resonance Letter: your name, email address, the product, amounts, tax, and the payment and subscription references our payment processor returns to us. Your full card number is never sent to or stored by us; payments are handled by Stripe.
When you email us: whatever you choose to include in your message.
How we use it
- To deliver what you asked for: the Starter guide, your Program files, the weekly guide emails, or the Resonance Letter.
- To keep order, tax and refund records and to answer support requests.
- To send occasional Energitology emails, only if you have consented. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address.
Service providers
We use a few trusted providers to run the site. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Stripe: payments, receipts, subscription billing and sales tax calculation.
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and the database that stores contacts and orders.
- Resend: email delivery.
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. While the site is in preview, a single technical cookie may be set to allow access to preview pages. Your quiz progress is kept in your own browser's storage and never leaves your device.
How long we keep it
Contact records are kept while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterwards to honour your unsubscribe request and to keep proof of consent. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require (typically six years in Canada). Email delivery logs are kept for a limited time for troubleshooting.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw your consent to emails at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
Energitology is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell subscribers by email.
